I've owned my 2017 Audi A3 for more than 2.5 years now (purchased September 2022). And have just discovered (on Wednesday the 14th of May) that I have Apple CarPlay 😆.
The advert back in 2022 did mention CarPlay, but I had it in my mind it would be over bluetooth. Also "Ideal Car Centre (Bilston)" will go down as the most dodgy car dealership I've ever had the misfortune of buying a car from (but after 2.5 years and over £15k repairs in the first year, I'm strangely attached to the car.)
On Wednesday I decided to plug my iPhone charger into a USB socket in the armrest box, and Apple CarPlay sprung into action 🙂 (I'd previously been charging my iPhone from the 12V cigarette lighter socket.)
