Hard Top for Exige V6 Roaster Arrived

It didn't take long and I have an unpainted hard top for my Lotus Exige V6 Roadster. Next step to get it painted in Arctic Silver Metallic (Lotus paint code B130).

2018.03.24: Goodwood Track Day (My First Track Day)

Saturday 24th March - my first track day with the Lotus Elise. I absolutely loved it of course, it’s an amazing privilege to be able to drive your car on the famous Goodwood Motor Circuit. The day was organized by Lotus On Track . It was a great learning experience too. One of the things I learnt was that there’s much much much faster drivers than me. I knew I wasn’t a fast driver, but it did surprise me how quickly people caught me up. My next track day will probably be at Castle Coombe since there the sessions are Novice/Intermediate/Advanced, whereas most of the track days lump everyone together; which meant an unskilful noob like me was in sessions with vastly more experienced and faster drivers - this wasn’t a problem, just meant I had to be very aware of my mirrors so as not to hold others up unduly (and spoil their run) since overtaking is by permission only (the driver in front needs to pull to the right and indicate). Exige Orange v Signature Orange

Going through a few emails I came across a picture of my very first (Signature Orange) Exige V6 S post detail. And it was an interesting comparison to compare with a similar photo of my current (Exige Orange) Exige V6 S Club Racer. Originally, when I bought my Exige V6 S Club Racer, I thought it was Signature Orange, but the detailers said it was a different orange (their eyesight for colour is better than mine). Also, reading from 'The Lotus Forums': https://www.thelotusforums.com/forums/topic/72960-lotus-reveal-exige-s-club-racer/ "The Exige S Club Racer is available in Metallic White, Exige Orange , Metallic Yellow and Matt Black (option)" So I'm pretty sure my club racer is Exige Orange (quite a close colour to Signature Orange just not as strong a gold fleck, and a slightly different tinge).
