On all my previous Audi A3 Mk III TDIs, I'd used the same Chip Express box. The Audi TT Mk2 TDI is a slightly different engine, so I had to pay the £149 to get my existing Chip Express box reconfigured, and this is money well spent.
According to the website, with the medium/standard setting (I've never turn it up to the max), the improvement:
Power: 170 PS (168 bhp) ---> 200 PS (197 bhp)
Torque: 350 Nm (256 lbf/ft) ---> 407 Nm (300 lbf/ft)
Economy: 8 - 16% improvement
If you have a Turbo Diesel, I'd highly recommended getting a Chip Express kit.
