2019.01.06: Bicester Heritage Sunday Scramble

On Sunday 6th January 2019, I took the Evora to the Sunday Scramble at Bicester Heritage. It was an interesting event, lots of great cars (a surprising turn out for wintertime.) I posted a YouTube video here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ce0BV5CVCVU.

Catching up on some other things:

i: The Rabbitgoo sunshade wasn’t effective at interior frost prevention, but putting a microfiber towel on top of the windscreen heating vents, seemed to be successful (I close all the vents to stop moist air coming into the cabin).

ii: I’ve ordered some Jaguar X-Type wing mirror caps (not cover), and the idea is to get these painted red (like the brake callipers), then the black passenger side one that I scraped on a pillar in an underground car park can be corrected.

And finally, mileage travelled since last fill up (includes a trip to Uxbridge as well as the trip to Bicester Heritage).

Miles travelled between fill ups = 21248 - 21060 = 188 miles
Petrol = 30.97 litres or 6.81 gallons
MPG = 27.61 mpg
